Our Pink House in Iowa!
Joseph has accepted a position at Deaf Missions in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He will be their new Video Producer. Deaf Missions has been without a Video Producer for more than one year. They are hungry for the fresh ideas Joseph will bring to the team as they strive to bring the gospel in living color to the Deaf. We are happy that Joseph’s friend, Chad, from Gallaudet will be the new Director next year and is moving with his wife and children this June. Joseph’s other friend from Gallaudet, Stacy, also lives in Council Bluffs with her husband and children. We look forward to many good times of fellowship together and the fun times our children will have growing up together.
We plan to depart San Diego Sunday, June 11, 2006. We hope to have one last goodbye at the Rock Church before departing.
See our new house! It was built in 1900 and is very cool! The floors are all the original wood and in excellent condition. It is very spacious and will be fun for the children to explore and enjoy during those long winter months when we are cooped up inside homeschooling, while Joseph braves the cold to go out to work! This will be fun. The house is located in kind of a historic district. The neighbors are very nice. It is very near the new library, an athletic park and the YMCA.
Of course, friends and family are welcome to visit! PLEASE, visit! You will have a spacious pink guest room, complete with claw foot bathtub for your accommodations and, of course, lots of yummy and interesting food!
